"Mykonos," Fleet Foxes

Rasputina, “Secret Message.” Julie and the ghost are getting closer…

I was listening to an “epic/heroic” themed playlist on YouTube tonight, and thought this was the perfect song for when my heroine marches toward her end confrontation with the villain. (Songs To Your Eyes (?), “Wild Kingdom.”)

For those who are interested in trivia, and are planning to read my novel whenever it comes out: This is the song the birds are singing in the forest, and then later (I think) the song that Julie hears inside the house.

Florence + The Machine - Shake It Out (by FlorenceMachineVEVO)

My earworm today.

Jessie Frye, singer-songwriter (via Duurt Lang Muziekblog over Jessie Frye)
Holy crap. I had a totally different mental image of my protagonist, but I think it just changed.

Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks (by OfMonstersAndMenVEVO)

I really like this song, and this video is amazing.  If a movie is ever made of my novel, this song should be on the soundtrack.

나르샤 삐리빠빠 (by LOENENT)

Narsha, “Bbi-ri-bba-bba.” I keep posting this everywhere—for some reason I’m obsessed with the visuals.

Tori Amos - Father Lucifer (Original) (by goticamedieval009)

Another Tori Amos song. Can you tell who my favorite singer was in high school? Realized suddenly that this song is extremely relevant to the story.

"Gone." This song, from Snow White and the Huntsman, has been in my head since I saw the movie on Monday. The really pretty part starts about a minute in, when Ioanna Gika starts singing.

The Cure - Lovesong (by RhinoEntertainment)

Feeling this one lately. An oldie, but a goodie.

More AFI: “Love Like Winter”

AFI - Prelude 12/21 (by LilMorrison0123Hardy)

I’d forgotten about this song until it came up on Pandora last night.

My latest earworm. I know people have probably already heard this, but I just saw the video and really liked it. Gotye: “Somebody That I Used To Know.”
